Mexico automotive parts to U.S. production freight checklist
How automotive suppliers can prepare parts moving from Mexico to U.S. plants, aftermarket warehouses, repair teams, or production lines.
Automotive freight is often measured by production impact, not just transport cost. Before dispatch, the shipper should organize part numbers, material, use, quantity, value, origin, package count, dimensions, weights, importer, broker, delivery appointment, dock hours, and whether the shipment affects production.
The route may be full truckload, LTL, expedited, team service, staged warehouse release, or cross-border handoff. The better question is not only "how fast can it move?" but "what information must be complete before the truck leaves?"
